Villa 50 - the Italian Pearl

The southern tip of Italy has not yet been discovered by mass tourism, even though there are only a couple of hours by car to the tourist magnet Sicily. There is very little industry. Life here is lived quietly – the olive, orange and lemon trees are looked after as they always have been - and visitors feel welcome.

The surroundings are spectacular and unspoiled. High mountains, forested areas, waterfalls, and sandy beaches with crystal clear water. The climate is warm and comfortable most of the year and therefore ideal for holidays with outdoor activity, hiking, biking and tennis, or just relaxation and bathing.

The southern Italian kitchen has a feel of sun and summer. Sun kissed fruit and vegetables and good calabrian wines can be enjoyed in abundance – at very modest prices. For instance - an espresso at the local tavern costs but 1 Euro!

Our holiday home is situated on a hilltop with a panorama view over the sea to one side and hills and olive groves to the other. You can always find sun or shade on one of the three terraces. The house is on the edge of the project and far away from the road, so there is peace and quiet and no motor noise.
